It's true, 2025 is already well underway, and spring isn't quite here yet, but there's never a bad time to discover new artists, right? That's why our selections always come at just the right time! Are you ready to discover the artists who will thrill you in the coming weeks?

This quarter, we are bringing you Chinese, German and American pop artists, afro-soul form The Netherlands, UK hip-hop, Colombian indie folk, melodic house from Italy and even Argentinian cumbia. Yes, it’s world tour!

There’s really something for every taste… and much more to discover for the curious mind! So there's no need to wait any longer, just open your eyes and ears and let's get started.

LA T y La M - Argentina

Even though they both live in the same town, it all started online for La T y La M. Back in 2020, Tobias was posting his songs on YouTube. Matias saw them and invited him to a jam at his studio. That’s how Argentina’s most popular cumbia duo of the moment started.

Since their first single in 2021, they accumulated more than 600 million streams, amassing 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, repeatedly trended on YouTube and played more than 300 shows worldwide.

Hits like “Messirve Mix”, “No Soy Un 10”, “Si estás en otra” broke records on Spotify and YouTube. Their World Cup anthem “Pa La Selección” (endorsed by Leo Messi himself) has almost 130 million listening.  Their hit “Amor de Vago”, released in August, is still in the top 10 most played songs in Argentina on Spotify to date. No doubt their latest hit, “Me duele” with Corazon Serrano and Pipe Calderon, will follow suit.

LUNA - Germany

A musician since her 10th birthday, LUNA had already released a few songs before her introspective pop hit “Verlierer” slipped to No. 3 in the German charts. It was 2020, and LUNA was just 17 when she took the road to success.

Building on this, she released several singles, later included in the verlierer EP in 2022. After several new songs and collaborations, such as “Neonlights with Katja Krasavice, LUNA released her debut album 25/8 in May 2024. Appreciated for its modern pop and deep lyrics, the album made its way into the Top Album Charts.

Later in 2024, LUNA collaborated with veteran rapper Trettmann on “Haus aus Zink” and accompanied him on tour. A fruitful encounter, as LUNA was able to work with Florida Juicy (Trettmann's producer) on new songs... which should soon delight fans, as the artist unveiled some on the Unreleased Berlin stage last February 19...

MADELLINE – United States

Madelline is one of pop’s most daring new voices, blending sharp lyricism, dance, and performance art into left-of-center bops that explore life, death, and mental health. Her theatrical stage presence and infectious energy have earned her over half a million monthly listeners and several viral moments on social media.

Her bilingual double-single “dopamine” has racked up over 15m streams to date, while her dance pop anthem, “I’m Only Here for the Beat” hit #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart.

A genre-bending mix of Lily Allen, Marina, Taylor Swift, and a dash of Ashnikko, Madelline’s fresh, fearless approach to pop makes her live shows unforgettable. Catch her on her first US headlining tour in March 2025!

ALIE BLACKCOBRA - Thailand

Though she started her musical career in 2023, Alie Blackcobra was already quite famous in Thailand as a LGBTQI+ influencer, beauty vlogger, and member of Hiwwhee, a collective of transgender personalities very popular in the Kathoey community, and very present in the media thanks to their fun antics.

Like many Thai transgender influencers who have recently branched out into music, Alie Blackcobra has also embarked on a solo music career, with resounding success. Released in August 2024, the romantic pop song "DOWN" is perhaps her biggest hit so far, with 11 million views on YouTube. “DO ME RIGHT”, a pop track with R&B overtones, has over 3 million views, while “ARCH” has almost 7 million views. That’s how popular Alie is.

Released in January, her song “ME FEEL” follows the same path, having already registered 1.8 million views.  No doubt her new EP, featuring alternate takes of “ME FEEL”, will be a blast too!

COCO RAMÉ – Colombia

When you’re listening to the recently released La Última Lágrima, it’s hard to believe that it’s only Coco Ramé’s first album and that he started his indie-folk project only in 2023.  But the truth is that the Bogotá-based artist has already spent more than 10 years of his career playing in several musical projects - from house to cumbia – before taking this direction.

The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist first tested the water on TikTok, where his raw, acoustic style and moving lyrics hit the spot and won him a faithful audience. Within a year, his singles “Contigo Aprendí” and “Un Te Amo Por Última Vez” are streamed more than 500 thousand times, even 700 thousand for “Los Minutos Pasan”.

With two acclaimed tours in 4 countries already under his belt, including opening for Ecuadorian artist Juan Fernando Velasco on his Colombian tour, Coco Ramé is definitely a name to follow on the Latin indie-folk scene.

REYI LIU – Greater China

She’s only 23, but Reyi Liu is already well identified in the Chinese entertainment world. Her career began in 2018 as a member of the pop band Chic Chili and its offshoot Chic Chili S&R. The same year she gained prominence through her participation in the TV show Produce 101 China and began to release her solo work.

A multi-faceted artist, Reyi Liu also has an expanding acting career.  She made her debut in the TV series The Love Equations in 2020 and has appeared in several other series since then, often performing the series' theme songs

Having released around thirty singles and two EPs since her debut, Reyi Liu finally dropped a whole album in 2024. Golden Tree showcases her exploration of a modern pop sound, occasionally infused with R&B elements—most notably on “Healer”, one of the album's top-performing tracks on streaming platforms.

LIL MACKS - UK

For the past 5 years, 23-year-old UK rapper Lil Macks has been making his mark on the British rap scene. In 2021, at the height of the COVID pandemic, his trap-wave track “Protect Me” blew up on social media, propelling the Milton Keynes artist to the forefront and enabling him to release his first mixtape Leaked.

He gained further traction when the demos of “Barbabos” and “Oslo” were leaked online, creating such a buzz that he flew to both locations to shoot music videos that were broadcast on the GRM Daily entertainment platform, garnering millions of views.

Showcased on tracks such as “Armageddon”, “Tears Dropping” or his 2nd mixtape Leaked 2, his ability to switch between singing and rapping, his authentic storytelling and well-crafted melodies have won him a loyal audience. Among his latest releases, “Pretty” has achieved more than over 1M streams on Spotify in 3 months. Clearly a name to follow!

GIOLÌ & ASSIA - Italy

When they met in 2014, did Giolì and Assia expect to become one of the most distinctive duos on the Italian electronic music scene? Since the start of their official collaboration in 2018, the pair have created a unique sound between house, indie, dance and pop, blending electronic rhythms, Assia's vocals and the multiple instruments played by Giolì (including her iconic handpan).

Through their own label Diesis Records, they have released 40 singles, 6 EPs and 3 albums. Giolì and Assia are also very appreciated for the wild sets they play all over the world, and to their #DiesisLive series, energetic livestreams filmed in stunning locations, like the Temple of Selinunte.

Taken from their last EP, Resurrection (Act II), “Please Don't Go” is becoming a major hit, making its way around ten New Music Fridays playlists worldwide – and many others!

NANA FOFIE – The Netherlands / Ghana

In just a few years, Afro R&B and Afro-Soul singer Nana Fofie has emerged as one of the most promising Afro-European women artists. What began in 2017 with music covers posted on YouTube has turned into a prolific career, with millions of YouTube views and Spotify streams, and even an opening act for Nicki Minaj and Juice World on the Nicki World Tour.

After several successful singles, the Ghanaian-Dutch singer-songwriter released her debut album Life is Better Now in 2023 - whose lead single “Selling Dreams” topped the 10 million streams mark. Much to the delight  of the NaNation, her enthusiastic fanbase, she went on to release new songs blending soul and Afrobeats,  such as “Can’t Hide”, published in October 2024.

Her last video for her single “Still Love” with American R&B artist Fridayy already has almost 500,000 streams. So, are you ready to join the NaNation too?
